French Herb-Crusted Salmon with Ratatouille

Pizza dough – 1 large (store-bought or homemade)
All-purpose flour – for dusting
Pizza sauce – ½ cup
Garlic – 1 teaspoon (minced)
Oregano – ½ teaspoon
Chili flakes – ½ teaspoon (optional)
Minced beef – 200 g (cooked & seasoned)
Pepperoni slices – as needed
Mushrooms – ½ cup (sliced)
Green capsicum – ½ cup (sliced)
Black olives – ¼ cup (sliced)
Mozzarella cheese – 1½ to 2 cups (grated)
Cheddar or pizza blend cheese – ½ cup (optional)
Salt – to taste
Black pepper – to taste
Mixed Italian herbs – 1 teaspoon
Olive oil – 1 tablespoon
Preheat your oven to 220°C (430°F) for at least 15 minutes. Place a baking tray or pizza stone inside.
Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface to your desired thickness. Transfer it to baking paper. Lightly brush the edges with olive oil.
Mix pizza sauce with minced garlic, oregano, and chili flakes. Spread evenly over the base, leaving a small border around the edges.
Start with a generous layer of mozzarella cheese. Then add cooked beef, pepperoni, mushrooms, capsicum, olives, and finish with another thick layer of cheese on top.
Sprinkle Italian herbs, salt, and black pepper.
Carefully transfer the pizza to the hot tray or stone. Bake for 12–15 minutes, or until the crust is golden and the cheese is bubbling and slightly browned.
Remove from oven and let it rest for 2–3 minutes. Slice and serve hot.
