Prep Time: 10 minutes
Cooking Time: 25 minutes
Total Time: 35–40 minutes
2 boneless chicken breasts (sliced or cubed)
Salt to taste
Black pepper to taste
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 tablespoon butter
250–300 g fettuccine or penne pasta
Water for boiling
Salt (for pasta water)
3 tablespoons butter
4 cloves garlic (finely chopped)
1 cup heavy cream
1 cup freshly grated parmesan cheese
½ teaspoon black pepper
Salt if needed
2 tablespoons pasta water (optional, for consistency)
Bring a large pot of salted water to boil.
Add pasta and cook until al dente (firm but cooked).
Reserve a little pasta water, then drain and set aside.
Heat olive oil and butter in a pan over medium heat.
Season chicken with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
Cook until golden and fully done (about 5–6 minutes).
Remove and keep aside.
In the same pan, add butter.
Add chopped garlic and sauté gently until fragrant (do not brown).
Pour in heavy cream and let it simmer on low heat for 3–4 minutes.
Add grated parmesan and stir until smooth and creamy.
Season with black pepper and adjust salt.
Add cooked pasta into the sauce.
Toss gently so every strand is coated.
If sauce feels thick, add a spoon of reserved pasta water.
Add cooked chicken back into the pan and mix well.
Let everything simmer together for 2–3 minutes.
Garnish with extra parmesan
Sprinkle fresh parsley
Add chili flakes for slight heat
Serve with garlic bread
Pair with sautéed vegetables
It looks beautiful in a white bowl with creamy sauce coating every piece.
Use freshly grated parmesan (not processed cheese).
Keep flame low while making sauce.
Do not overcook pasta.
Alfredo sauce thickens as it cools — keep it slightly loose.
Chicken Alfredo Pasta is not about heavy spices.
It’s about balance.
Cream, garlic, butter, parmesan — simple but powerful.
One plate is never enough.
Make it once… and it will become your go-to creamy pasta recipe.
