It’s that perfect balance — not too sweet, not too spicy — just sticky, crispy goodness in every bite.

Perfect crispy coating that stays crunchy
Sticky honey glaze with balanced heat
Quick and easy to make
Tastes exactly like restaurant-style Indo-Chinese
400g boneless chicken (cut into bite-sized cubes)
3 tbsp cornflour
2 tbsp all-purpose flour
1 egg
1 tsp ginger-garlic paste
½ tsp black pepper
Salt to taste
Oil for deep frying
2 tbsp honey
1 tbsp soy sauce
1 tbsp red chilli sauce
1 tsp vinegar
1 tsp finely chopped garlic
1 tsp chopped green chilli (optional for extra heat)
1 tbsp sesame seeds
2 tbsp chopped spring onions
In a bowl, add chicken pieces, egg, ginger-garlic paste, salt, pepper, cornflour, and flour.
Mix well until the chicken is evenly coated.
Let it rest for 10–15 minutes.
Heat oil in a deep pan.
Fry the chicken pieces on medium flame until golden brown and crispy.
Remove and drain on tissue paper.
Pro Tip:
For extra crispiness, double fry the chicken for 1 minute on high heat before tossing in sauce.
In a separate pan, heat 1 tbsp oil.
Add chopped garlic and sauté for a few seconds until aromatic.
Now add:
Honey
Soy sauce
Chilli sauce
Vinegar
Stir well and let it simmer for 1–2 minutes until slightly thick.
Add the fried chicken to the sauce.
Toss quickly on high flame so every piece gets coated in that glossy honey-chilli glaze.
Turn off the heat and garnish with sesame seeds and spring onions.
Serve hot as an appetizer
Pair with fried rice or hakka noodles
Perfect party starter
Great for Ramadan iftar or weekend dinners
